Christian Baudanza – Di Tacchio
Founder and Head of Goalkeeper Development

Christian has been playing both football and futsal since the age of 4 originally starting out as a goalkeeper. He then moved on to playing as a centre-back throughout the grassroots level until finally going back to the goalkeeper position he loved so much at the age of 13. Christian brings with him over 20+ years of goalkeeping experience at various levels throughout the Canadian Soccer System. Over those 20+ years Christian developed his own style of goalkeeping which is a blend from his experience in both the futsal and football worlds by watching his idols Gianluigi Buffon, Francesco Toldo, Nelson Dida from the world of football as well as Luis Amado from the world of futsal.

Christian has obtained various coaching certifications in the world of soccer and futsal. He is a UEFA C Licensed Coach having obtained his license through the Berlin Football Association in Germany. With Ontario Soccer, he has obtained the Grassroots Diploma, Goalkeeper Coach Diploma and the Futsal Coach Certificate. He has learned the Buffon Method from B1 Coaches at the Buffon Academy in Italy as well as learned how to further develop goalkeepers in the world of futsal from the Andre Caro Futsal Academy in Australia and Luizinho Cruz.  He is extremely passionate about passing along his experience and knowledge to young and aspiring goalkeepers ensuring that they have the proper mindset and foundations to help make them into the goalkeeper they want to be.
